We are praying for the nation against this deadly disease wreaking havoc on human lives, which no one seems to have an answer to its potency. The untold panic of the world at the moment shows how much it has little control over what's going on now.
As Christians we do believe in the expertise of the medical world, and have to follow any instructions given us to safeguard ourselves from being contracted with the disease, however, we still do believe in the realms beyond the natural world where not only science is the answer to all human problems.
And this divine realm is inhabited by God Almighty, and assurance in his word says:
Be strong! Be fearless! Don't be afraid and don't be scared by your enemies, because the LORD your God is the one who marches with you. He won't let you down, and he won't abandon you, Deuteronomy 31:6
Therefore, we have to resort to that environment which is the divine one, and render our request to the one who is our maker and creator of the universe, and ultimately has answer to absolutely everything.
The scripture again makes us to understand that there's a spiritual battle which the natural world has a battle with, and they are forces of cosmic darkness and spiritual powers of evil in the heavens, which we have to fight by the power of our almighty God.
PRAYER:
Dear Lord, I stand in today to intercede on behalf of the desperate world to eradicate this disease trying to wipe out human life with such uncontrolled venom.
The Lord said in the scripture, that if my people who are called by my name, humble themselves and pray, and repent from their wicked ways, I will forgive them and heal their land. So, by your word, I ask that you heal the world of this disease, so that no human life would be lost any longer in Jesus' name, for your love is like the fountain that flows to nourish our life and make it better, Amen!
