DO YOU WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT GOD?

JESUS LOVES YOU! HE'S CALLING YOU, IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW BAD YOU ARE.

This call is not about getting you to be religious, but about getting you to know who God really is, and therefore setting up a relational attachment with you. He's calling you at this moment.

wanting to know more about God is about ready to step into a new dimension of spiritual life, that you might not be familiar with; which the rational mindset would question its validity, and therefore challenge the purpose for it.
However, the natural mind is always antagonistic about change and therefore, you can only counter this resistance from the point of view of open-mindedness. As you genuinely want to experience the presence of God with open-minded attitude, and with conviction to explore more, God would open up an opportunity through any available process He might choose to meet you, either in an extraordinary or ordinary way.
However, whichever way He chooses for your experience would be extraordinary as your first experience is concerned; and from that, hunger for spiritual change would take place in your life albeit in a gradual process; and your experience of God would be established, and couldn't forget His love and care for you ever again.
BUT, as you embark on this journey you have to have a starting point; which is a place to explore the personhood of God, because knowing God is not a ''CONCEPT'' one obtains from a 'spiritual literature' or just introduce to by a religious friend. Though, that could be part of the beginning of the search process, however, the best place for beginning to understand the nature of God is being in the system of fellowship of the people who have responded to the call of God themselves, and are part of His nature, and His 'chosen' people called the CHURCH.
The bible says the church should make DISCIPLES of those who don't have relationship with Christ, and introduce them through His word. And the meaning of the word Discipleship is: being a follower of Christ through systematic teaching of the scripture; there and then, a person's understanding could be expanded, and based on the one's openness, the Holy Spirit would take over to bring spiritual inspiration, and therefore conviction of sin in that person's life, and then change begins.
From that time, you would begin to appreciate the value God has placed on you as a person through Christ, and how special you are to Him. Hence there was a yearning to know Him and establish life completeness, which no wealth in this world could offer, this is a period called a NEW LIFE IN CHRIST, which only those who have relationship with Him would understand, and it's not an experience for spiritual novice.
